Here are some offical google links to help you with google plus, as far as I can see it really is taking off. I hope it continues to, I find google plus to be so much better than facebook, there are heaps more links to visit on the the particular pages.
I will try and compile a list of some well known people you may wish to follow on Google+, I personally am not that interested in that many celebs, but I am sure others will be. I'll try and categorise the people as well, or at least do my best. As Google+ becomes more popular,

Today I signed up to the Google 2-step verification, I am slowly becoming a member of the Google collective more and more each day, so it seems. I guess I trust google much much more than the others, I have ditched my old Yahoo account, Hotmail is next, yep I am a Google convert and now that we have Google plus, what more do I need!
